Automating the Identity Fear Quotient (IFQ™) Assessment with Zoho Creator

Client Background

SightShift helps leaders build self-awareness and overcome insecurity through structured assessment tools and guided programs. To scale their Identity Fear Quotient (IFQ™) assessment and deliver instant personalized insights, the SightShift team partnered with us to develop a seamless digital workflow within the Zoho ecosystem.

Client Requirement

SightShift needed a secure and automated process to digitize their IFQ™ Measurement Assessment — an eight-question quiz designed to calculate leadership mindset and fear patterns. The system needed to:

  • Capture user responses from a Zoho Form.
  • Calculate detailed personality and fear-based percentage scores.
  • Automatically generate a personalized report page for each participant.
  • Create a PDF version of the report stored inside Zoho Creator.
  • Email the report instantly to the participant.
  • Support reusable coupon codes for discounted access before form submission.
  • Deliver a smooth, branded experience consistent with the SightShift website.

Directive

The key directives were to:

Automate the flow from form submission to personalized result generation.

Implement a multi-factor scoring engine to evaluate seven leadership tendencies and nine fear categories.

Push dynamic data to a client-hosted results page with brand-aligned visuals.

Generate a PDF report directly from Zoho Creator for each response record.

Integrate coupon code logic for pre-payment validation within Zoho Forms.

Ensure real-time report delivery and audit tracking within the Creator database.

Solution Steps

Step 1: Zoho Form Configuration

A custom Zoho Form was designed with eight structured questions and multiple-choice options aligned to the IFQ™ model. Each question mapped to one or more psychological factors (Proving, Hiding, Mission-driven, Community-driven, Survival, Achievement, Integration). A coupon field was embedded to apply promotional discounts before payment, and the form connected directly to Zoho Creator using Zoho Flow for instant data transfer.

Step 2: Zoho Creator Application – “SightShift IFQ™ Measurement PSI”

Inside Zoho Creator, a comprehensive application was developed to receive Zoho Form submissions, calculate weighted percentages across all leadership and fear metrics, store responses as structured records, and trigger automated workflows for report generation and email delivery

Core Automations:

  • Data Processing: Each option’s value was tied to an internal scoring matrix that determined the participant’s dominant traits and fears.
  • Result Mapping: The logic engine calculated proportional values and identified the top three fears, strengths, and core values.
  • Dynamic Text Rendering: Predefined descriptive content, aligned with SightShift’s proprietary IFQ™ framework, was dynamically injected based on results.

Step 3: Dynamic Report Page Integration

The application pushed processed data to a dynamic web page embedded within the SightShift website. Each participant viewed their personalized breakdown — including leadership tendencies, validation sources, top fears, and development roadmap. The report design mirrored the SightShift brand identity (colors, typography, and layout).

Step 4: PDF Generation and Email Automation

Once the analysis was complete, a PDF report was automatically generated using Zoho Creator’s PDF utility. The report summarized key metrics like validation style, top fears, and leadership patterns. This PDF was stored within the application and emailed instantly to the participant through Zoho Creator’s email templates.

Step 5: Coupon and Payment Flow

Customers could apply reusable coupon codes directly within the Zoho Form before checkout. Upon validation, payment was processed and users were redirected to the assessment hosted on the SightShift website. This created a seamless experience with accurate data tied to validated entries only.
